ABOUT
Hi, I'm Elijah Quarnstrom.  I have been a Registered Nurse for 11 years and have worked in healthcare for 18 years. From transitional care facilities to the Emergency Room I have seen a common trend. I have worked with many coworkers and patients who suffer from preventable lifestyle diseases, lack of action, work/life imbalance, burn out, living out of alignment with their beliefs, values, convictions and so much more. I have especially seen this among men of all ages and it's a troubling reality.  This has caused me to act on a life time passion of health and wellness. Due to what I have seen in my career and personal experience, I have a passion for helping adult men elevate their health and wellbeing. A level of Holistic Temple Restoration can be achieved at any age.

When you work with me as your Nurse Coach and accountability partner, every area of your being matters. These include mental, intellectual, spiritual, environmental, social, financial, occupational and physical (SAMHSA, 2016). Additionally, I utilize The American College of Lifestyle Medicine's (ACLM, 2026) Six Pillars of Wellness that include nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management, social connections and avoiding risky substances. Following these six is key to disease prevention and elevating your health and wellness.

My greatest strengths are spiritual care, lifestyle modification, diet, exercise and creating routines and habits. I enjoy completing a holistic assessment where we bring awareness to each area and see where you can elevate your health and well-being in that area. Each area matters. Positive change in one area creates momentum and positively affects the other areas. We start with awareness, discovering strengths, identifying barriers, co-creation of SMART goals, celebrating the wins and repeating until you meet your goals.

I work alongside you as we bring awareness to each area, take action steps accordingly and live intentionally. God created you with the power of choice. You are not the product of your past. God can change you. You have the power to choose today to start living differently.

This isn't about Eden perfection but rather empowering you to take personal accountability and responsibility for your life, your choices and how you respond to them. Moving from a state of passivity to putting forth intentional and purposeful effort with God's help and me as your coach and accountability partner to bring about holistic restoration.

When you live this way you become part of the holy nation, the set apart that we are called to be in this world (1 Peter 2:9, Jeremiah 1:5, Colossians 3:12). Not to conform (Romans 12:2, 2 Corinthians 6:17) to the world's way of living and merely exist, confused and without purpose. But, rather to live a life of intentionality and abundance that honors God, honors our bodies and honors those in our sphere of influence while reflecting His glory and modeling restoration to those around us.

My commitment to you is to show up to our sessions undistracted, present and engaged. You get a human experience. Not AI. One imperfect man to another. But one who is intentionally trying to live in a way that brings honor to God, my body which is His Temple, and honors those in my circle of influence.

Your commitment is to show up prepared to discuss, undistracted and in a quiet place. Put forth effort. Ask questions. Dig deep. Be intentional. Follow through on goals and complete any out of session field work that may be discussed.

If you're hesitant about reaching out. That's okay. Take some time. Pray about it. Talk to a friend, pastor or your wife about the decision.

Reflect on these questions:

If my life continues exactly as it is, in five years will I be happy with where I'm at?

Do I have any preventable lifestyle/medical conditions that if left unchanged will become more complex and further hinder me from living at my best?

What does it look like to live for God, my family, my connections and myself?

What's the cost of not changing anything at all in my life? Will I be happy with that cost in the short term and long term?

Are there any areas of my life where I am dissatisfied and how is that affecting the other areas of my life?

How am I living in alignment with my beliefs, values and convictions?

Am I truly living out my faith?

If you're reading this, God has already brought you here for a reason. Take your first step of accountability and action by scheduling your free 30 minute no obligation discovery call.

Lastly, you don't have to be a Christian or religious/spiritual man to work with me. If you prefer not to have prayer or faith in your session, that's okay, the principles are the same. I work with anyone who wants to elevate their health and wellbeing.
